        The phone line tech came out this morning. Phone first rang at 7:30am to tell us it was fixed... over the static. In the end he fixed two problems, one in the exchange and one where the line connects to the house. This fixed the problem, it would seem. Touch wood.

        Working on making the EvoGrid code is more configurable. Moving out previously hard coded strings to configuration files and functions.

        Tried to find a commonly used library for C that will handle .ini or other configuration files, but didn't find one. libconfig0 is available in Debi

        Installed a Wiki on this site, using BoltWire. I haven't used this package before, but it doesn't require a database, and seems to do some things quite cleverly.

        Worked on a human readable status page for the EvoGrid.
        Reduced database on-disk size by two thirds, by sacrificing flexibility. This was in place for a future direction that we have decided not to pursue.

        Set up the Evogrid sources on another machine to use for simulation.

        This machine uses dual Athlon CPUs. There is a lot of various information about the correct operating temperature of Athlon CPUs. The technical sheet from AMD says they are rated for 85C to 90C, depending on the model.
